Report: Titans have ‘solid’ offer for top pick … Right on cue from our report earlier this morning, Will Brinson of CBS Sports is reporting that Tennessee has a ‘solid’offer’ from at least one team for the top pick at this month’s draft. And while it is important to note that he is just speculating, Brinson figures that it is Philadelphia, not San Francisco, which has made the offer which Tennessee reportedly would like to see ‘sweetened’. As we have noted previously, the possible problem for the Eagles is while they have 9 picks overall this year, they do not currently have a second rounder. The other question for the Eagles if they were in fact able to swing this deal, is what happens to incumbent starter Sam Bradford who was recently extended. One wonders if indeed the Eagles are serious about moving up if Bradford then becomes the trade bait to get Philadelphia over the top, although we stress that at this time there is absolutely nothing out there to indicate that he is on the block.
