Titans inch closer to top pick; Browns move to #2 … After losing 33-16 to New England earlier today, Tennessee edged closer to claiming the #1 pick overall at the 2016 draft. In fact, the Titans, who have a significantly weaker strength of schedule figure than any other team within range of the top pick, can clinch selecting first this coming April with loses to Houston and Indianapolis on the final two weekends of the season. Meanwhile, with San Diego defeating Miami to move to 4-10, Cleveland would have the 2nd pick overall were the draft held this week after the Browns’ loss in Seattle kept them at 3-11. At the same time, the 3rd-4th picks are currently too close to call between San Diego and Baltimore, while at this hour, Detroit would have the 5th pick, followed by San Francisco and Dallas.
