Titans complete top football staff; take interim tag of coach Mularkey … Tennessee, which has the #1 pick overall that the 2016 draft, announced earlier today that interim head coach Mike Mularkey has been given the job full-time. Mularkey replaced ken Whisenhunt mid-way through the season and led the Titans to a 2-7 record down the stretch. The decision to keep Mularkey around long-term comes a couple of days after Tennessee named Jon Robinson as the team’s new general manager on Thursday. Robinson, a native Tennessean replaces Ruston Webster, who was fired the day after the regular season finale. Robinson director of player personnel for Tampa Bay the last two seasons and spent the previous 12 years working with New England. If nothing else, Robinson has some experience with the top pick in the draft as he was part of the staff that selected Jameis Winston with the #1 pick last year.
