Titans claim some ‘serious’ interest in top pick … Just days after saying it would cost a ‘king’s ransom’ to pry the #1 pick at the 2016 draft away from Tennessee, new titans’ G.M. Jon Robinson says that the team has had “a couple” of calls about trading the top pick. According to an article in USA Today, when asked at at the NFL meetings if the interest was serious, Robinson answered with a definitive “yes.” Not surprisingly, Robinson did not say much more and did not elaborate which teams had called, although the obvious speculation is that it is likely teams looking to jump up ahead of Cleveland to get the top QB in this year’s draft. Teams that are thought to be looking at acquire a QB with their top pick include San Francisco and Los Angeles, and possibly Dallas. Stay tuned.
