Tigers, Ducks hilite pro day sched … The annual pro day schedule really heats up later today with workouts at Clemson and Oregon with big turnouts expected at both sites. Clemson, of course, is simply one of the most talented programs in the country, although most of the Tigers’ top prospects, including LB Isaiah Simmons, who is generally considered to be one of the top 4-5 candidates overall for this year’s draft, worked out at last month’s combine. The one major exception for the Tigers was WR Tee Higgins, a late first, early second round prospect who scouts will be able to go today. As fascinating as the Clemson work out should be, the Oregon pro day could be even more consequential for the early going of the 2020 draft, as Ducks’ QB Justin Herbert, arguably the most polarizing prospect in this year’s draft is expected to go through one of those scripted throwing sessions. And again just who shows up at Oregon today from which NFL teams will be informative in its own right as to how those teams are thinking these days. Stay tuned!
