Tide WR Metchie feared out with torn ACL … Alabama’s win over Georgia in yesterday’s SEC conference game appears to have come at a cost as John Metchie, the team’s leading receiver,suffered what is believed to be a torn ACL when he went down awkwardly after a catch later in the second quarter. Metchie, the top Canadian prospect in this year’s draft class, had been considered to be an early second day prospect with the potential to sneak into the latter part of the opening round.
