Tide WR Burton active despite post-game incident … Alabama WR Jermaine Burton is in uniform and playing tonight against Mississippi State. There had been speculation that he might be suspended when he was accused of pushing a female as Tennessee fans stormed the field after the Vols win over the Tide last weekend. The team will reportedly handle the issue ‘internally’ although it is not the first time that Burton has had to deal with anger management issues. Burton, who is considered to be a second-day type prospect for the 2023 draft, though, could have some explaining to do at pre-draft interviews next spring.
