Tide LB Campbell had shoulder surgery … While most of the focus at the Alabama pro day today was on QB Jalen Milroe, perhaps the more significant development today was the revelation that projected LB Jihaad Campbell, a potential top 15 prospect, was wearing a heavy brace and stabilizing support device on his shoulder as he recently had surgery to repair what he described as a “slight tear” in his labrum. We have to assume the injury occurred post-combine and no recovery timeline was announced. Hard to say what kind of impact this will have on his draft status, but it can’t help.
