Thursday bowl preview … Just two more sleeps until Saturday’s national playoff semifinals, the only bowls that really matter. However, the prelims continue with three more bowls including one – hallelujah – that actually has two ranked teams playing each other as #10 Colorado plays #12 Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl at 9 PM ET on ESPN. Of course, the folks at Colorado and Okie State are probably asking themselves ‘if we are so highly ranked how come we are only playing on December 29th in an obscure secondary bowl’. Good question and if anybody has a reasonable answer other than you guys aren’t Oklahoma or Southern Cal please let us know! Meanwhile, there are prospects to watch in today’s triple-header and here’s a quick rundown of who to watch with an eye toward the 2017 draft.
