Third player enters supp draft

Third player enters supp draft … A third player has entered this summer’s supplemental draft as Northland C&T WR Devonaire Clarington has  made himself available for the July 10th supp draft. Clarington was a former 4-star recruit at Texas, but never played for the Longhorns due to academic issues. In fact, Northland C&T is Clarington’s 3rd junior college as he played at Blinn JC in 2016 where he had 1 reception as a TE in 9 games. He then sat out the 2017 season at Iowa Western CC. This past 2018 season at Northland C&T, Clarington had a breakout season when he had 48 catches for 916 yards and 11 TDs as a WR. Clarington is listed as 6-7, 230 and reportedly ran the 40 in the 4.6 range at a recent workout, but pro teams will get a better idea of his athleticism at an individual Pro Day workout July 8 in Miami. Clarington is the third player to declare for the supplemental draft joining West Virginia WR Marcus Simms and Syracuse LB/ST Shy Cullen.
