That’s a wrap

April 28, 2018

That’s a wrap … The 2018 draft came to a close just before 7 PM ET when Washington made SMU WR Trey Quinn this year’s ‘Mr Irrelevant’ when they selected him with the 256th and final pick.  Again, however, there won’t be any rest for NFL personnel people who are already working the phones trying to sign the top undrafted free agents. Needless to say most of the best prospects have already been chosen, but there are still some quality players left on the board including QBs Kyle Allen, Chase Litton, Kurt Benkert, JT Barrett, and Chad Kanoff; RB Josh Adams; WRs Simmie Cobbs, Deontay Burnett, and Robert Foster; OTs Desmond Harrison, Brett Toth, KC McDermott, Toby Weathersby and Timon Parris; OGs Taylor Hearn, Cody O’Connell, and Sean Welsh; DEs Jon Ostman and David Bellamy; DTs Trent Thompson and Poona Ford; ILB Tegray Scales; OLBs Hercules Ma’atafa and Jeff Holland; CBs Tony Brown, Kevin Toliver, Quenton Meeks, Tarvarus McFadden, Holton Hill, and Brandon Facyson; FS Quin Blanding; and PK Eddy Pineiro.
