Texas, LSU answer coach questions … Two of college footballs most prominent programs have made heading coaching moves as Texas has reportedly hired Tom Herman away from Houston, while LSU has taken the interim label off Ed Orgeron and given him the job full-time. Herman replaces Charlie Strong who was fired earlier this week after a three-year tenure in which the Longhorns were a dismal 16-21. LSU, in fact, also made a big play for Herman after they had reportedly tried to pry Jimbo Fisher away from Florida State, but settled on Orgeron with their preferred options off the table.
