Texans-Vikes highlights Sunday draft sched … Prior to the season both Minnesota and Houston figured to be at least contenders for a playoff berth this fall. Instead both have stumbled to almost shocking 0-3 starts. However, at least one will get off the schneid, barring a tie of course, as the Vikings will be in Houston to face the Texans in one of Sunday’s early games. For the record, going into the week, Minnesota would have had the 4th pick overall in the 2021 selection order were it held this week, while Houston sits 6th, although the pick actually belongs to Miami as a result of last year’s trade for OT Laremy Tunsil. Meanwhile, the other winless teams still to play this weekend, though, are in tough. Atlanta, which would have had the #1 pick if the draft were held this weekend, will play in Green Bay on Monday night, while the Giants, who would have the 2nd pick this year, play the Rams in LA in a late Sunday afternoon game. We’ll also keep an eye on Cincinnati, which is home to Jacksonville, and Philadelphia, which will be at San Francisco, both of which are 0-2-1 after tying last weekend.
