Texans loss settles one more pick

Texans loss settles one more pick … For about 20 minutes or so it looked like the AFC would have a second huge playoff upset this weekend after Houston raced to a 24-0 lead over Kansas City early in the second quarter of their conference semi-final earlier thsi afternoon. It was not to be for the Texans, though, as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs cranked out 7 straight TD drives to take a 41-24 lead and never looked back. As a result of the loss the Texans were awarded the 26th pick in each round of the 2020 draft. However, because the Texans had sent their opening round pick to Miami in the deal for OT Laremy Tunsil, it will actually be the Dolphins that pick in that spot. In fact, Houston had also traded its third rounder – #90 overall – to Las Vegas. Meanwhile, the loser of this evenings NFC semi between Seattle and Green Bay will have the 27th pick in each round.
