TEs slow at combine 40 run … After all the speed we saw earlier today when the defensive backs did their on-field physical testing, the TEs looked almost like they were running with lead weights in their shoes when completing their 40s. In fact, only a couple of TEs running this evening – Oregon’s Terrance Ferguson who posted a 4.63 clocking and Josh Simon of South Carolina with a 4.66 time – were able to break even the 4.7 mark. The only saving grace was that most, if not all, the top TE prospects this year including Penn State’s Tyler Warren, Colston Loveland of Michigan, LSU’s Mason Taylor and Elijah arroyo of Miami opted not to run.
