Teams with picks 5 & 6 get new coaches … Both Jacksonville and La Vegas, which have the 5th and 6th picks respectively in the opening round of the 2025 draft, got themselves new coaches earlier today. Its a familiar face in Las Vegas where the Raiders signed NFL veteran Pete Carroll, whereas it was more of a ‘Who?’ in Jacksonville where the Jags signed Tampa Bay offensive co-ordinator Liam Coen. However, while Coen isn’t necessarily a household name around the country, he has a solid reputation after getting the absolute most out of Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers offence the past couple of season. Of course, the Jags are hoping that Coen can work some of that QB magic on Trevor Lawrence.
