Supp draft RB seriously injured in weekend shooting … Former Grand Valley State star RB Marty Carter, who was available in this summer’s supplemental draft, was left in critical condition after being shot at a gas station in his hometown of East Chicago on Saturday. Carter, GVSU’s all-time leading rusher, entered the supplemental draft when he was declared academically ineligible for the upcoming season, but was not selected. Carter had recently worked out with Kansas City, but had yet to sign.
