Star Utes’ OT sits bowl; in fact off to draft … We neglected to mention this yesterday, but star Utah junior OT Spencer Fano did not play in the Utes’ bowl win over Nebraska and after a little further research we did find reference to the fact that Fano had told team officials that he was headed to the 2026 draft where he is projected to be a top 10-20 candidate. Fano is the second Utah OT to declare for the draft as Caleb Lomu had made the same announcement a couple of weeks, himself a later opening round prospect, a couple of weeks ago.
