Star TCU WR ruled out for rest of year

Star TCU WR ruled out for the rest of year … In the end, it turns out that star TCU WR Josh Doctson won’t play in the Horned Frogs’ final two games of the regular season because of a wrist injured. Doctson injured the wrist early in the month and tried to play through it last Saturday against Kansas, but was ineffective with only one reception. Doctson, who has been one of the top receivers in college football this season with 79 catches for over 1,300 yards and 14 touchdowns, is considered to be a possible late first-round prospect for the 2016 draft. And if it isn’t bad enough that TCU will have to play its final two games of the year in the tight Big XII conference race without Doctson, but the Horned Frogs could also be without star junior Trevone Boykin when they play at Oklahoma on Saturday evening after he suffered an ankle injury against Kansas; for now he’s listed as a game-time decision.
