Star Gators’ TE Pitts held out of LSU match

Star Gators’ TE Pitts held out of LSU match … Florida TE Kyle Pitts, the pro prospect in the country at the position and arguably one of the best at any position, was a late scratch from tonight’s game with LSU. Pitts participated in warmups but was scratched because of an unspecified lingering injury. Pitts suffered a nasty head injury earlier in the season, but has played since. This will certainly be a situation pro scouts will want to get more detail. There are in fact teams that have rated Pitts as high as the second-best non-QB prospect for this year’s draft, behind only Oregon OT Penei Sewell, but the injury issues could cloud his immediate grade. Stay tuned!
