Stanford RB Love recovering from torn ACL

Stanford RB Love recovering from torn ACL … Stanford RB Bryce Love, one of the top RB prospects for the upcoming draft, confirmed earlier today that he is currently recovering from a torn ACL suffered in the Cardinal’s final regular season game this fall. Love underwent surgery in mid December and is currently rehabbing at the Andrews Institute and training in Florida. Love will still attend the scouting combine in Indianapolis at the end of February, but won’t be able to work out; he also will not be able to participate in the Cardinals’ pro day in March. Given the usual recovery period of 6-9 months for this kind of injury, Love is hopeful that he could be ready for the start of training camp or at least the start of the regular season. Love looked all the part of a potential first rounder after he ran for over 2,000 yards two years ago, but surprisingly returned to school and then saw his stock dip as he struggled through an injury-plagued senior season in 2018. And that was before he tore the ACL, which could very well push him deep into the second day of the 2019 draft.
