Sparty LB to seek 6th year … Michigan State has confirmed that LB Ed Davis will apply to the NCAA for a 6th year of eligibility. Davis had been considered to be an emerging prospect for the 2016 draft after he racked up 7 sacks last fall, but he missed the entire campaign with a torn ACL suffered in training camp. Davis also redshirted his freshman year in part because of knee and shoulder injuries.
