Sooners hold serve; win Big XII but lose star WR Brown … Oklahoma rallied from an early deficit to defeat long-time rival Texas 39-27 in this afternoon’s Big XII Conference championship game. Having done their part, the Sooners will now sit back and watch the other conference finals to see if they did enough to make the 4-team CFL playoff. However, it wasn’t all good news for Oklahoma as star junior WR Marquise Brown, a potential late first, early second round prospect for the 2019, was on crutches on the sidelines as the clock ticked down. Brown had hobbled off the field early in the 4th quarter after taking a hard hit in the back, but team trainers actually worked on his foot. He was later seen on the sidelines in tears and was later carted off the field before returning on crutches. Stay tuned!
