Sooners’ MLB Asamoah to enter draft … Oklahoma redshirt junior MLB Brian Asamoah has announced that he will forego his final year of eligibility and enter the 2022 draft. Asamoah also indicated that he won’t play in the Sooners’ Alamo bowl game against Oregon on December 29th. Asamoah, in fact, is the 3rd OU defensive starter to enter the draft joining OLB Nik Bonitto and DT Perrion Winfrey in the 2022 draft class. However, while he lead the Sooners with 89 tackles this year, Asamoah isn’t quite as highly rated as the other two and figures to be more a late second or early third day selection.
