Sooner RB Mixon enters draft … In a bit of surprise, embattled Oklahoma redshirt sophomore RB Joe Mixon apparently will enter the 2017 draft. Based on pure physical skills, Mixon likely would be a first-round pick this year, but he was forced to sit out his first year on campus after punching a young woman in 2014 of which the video was just released several weeks ago. As a result its just as conceivable that Mixon won’t be drafted at all because of the potential for bad PR. Mixon is the second Sooners’ RB to enter the draft after junior Samaje Perine also announced his intent to enter the upcoming draft earlier this week.
