Smith, Davis out of CFP college title game

Smith, Davis out of CFP college title game with injuries … Miracles can always happen, but Alabama looks to be well on the way to a national championship with a 3-TD lead over Ohio State late in the 3rd quarter of tonight’s CFP title game in Miami. However, it looks like the Tide will have to finish the game without Heisman Trophy winning WR DeVonta Smith who was knocked out of the game with what is being reported as a hand injury early in the 2nd half. Prior to the injury, though the electric Smith had an almost ridiculous 12 receptions for 215 yards and 3 TDs in just over a half of football. Ohio State OG Wyatt Davis, one of the top interior offensive line prospects for the upcoming draft, unfortunately suffered what appeared a more serious leg or knee injury earlier in the game. Stay tuned for updates.
