‘Skins get QB Keenum in pick swap with Broncos … Washington has reportedly agreed in principle with Denver to acquire veteran QB Case Keenum in exchange for a swap of 2020 draft picks. Denver will get Washington’s 6th round pick in 2020 while Washington will get the Broncos’ 7th rounder. With the Redskins, Keenum is expected to compete with Colt McCoy another veteran journeyman – to fill-in for incumbent starter Alex Smith who suffered a potentially career-ending this past season. Even with the acquisition of Keenum, the Redskins are still expected to be in the market for a QB with one of their early picks – possibly even the 15th overall – at the upcoming draft, and they still may, but the pressure may be reduced to force a pick or trade.
