East-West Shrine; NFLPA Classic set to KO … Its game day on the post-season college all-star schedule with both the East-West Shrine game in St. Petersburg and the NFLPA Classic in Los Angeles set to KO off later today. The Shrine game will kick-off 3 PM ET on the NFL Network. Among notable prospects scheduled to play in the Shrine game include QBs Taylor Cornelius of Oklahoma State, Boise State’s Brett Rypien, and Jordan Ta’amu of Mississippi; Florida OT Martez Ivery; Georgia C Lamont Gaillard; Oklahoma State DE Jordan Brailford; DTs Daniel Wise of Kansas and Chris Slayton of Syracuse; ILBs Khalil Hodge of Buffalo and Kansas’ Joe Dineen; CBs Montre Hartage of Northwestern and Troy’s Blace Brown; and safeties Andrew Wingard of Wyoming and Chris Johnson of North Alabama. Here are the updated rosters for the East and West teams at this year’s Shrine game which appears to be especially talented among the back seven defensive positions. Meanwhile, the NFLPA Collegiate all-star game will go at the Rose Bowl with the KO scheduled for 5 PM ET with coverage on FS1. The NFLPA game still doesn’t attract the same talent level as the Shrine game, but still has a number of players of note including Washington QB Jake Browning. He’ll be joined in the QB rotation by Brent Stockstill of Middle Tennessee, while other players to watch at the NFLPA game include Arkansas OG Hjalte Froholdt and Texas OT Patrick Vahe, along with CBs Mark Fields of Clemson and Iowa State Brian Peavy among others. Here are the full rosters for the NFLPA game as they currently stand. Of course, these two games set the stage for next week’s Senior Bowl in Mobile. Stay tuned!
