Senior Bowl again dominates star games on NFL rosters … The all-star game season is still almost 4 months away, but it is not to early to review how the different star games did when it came to putting its players on NFL rosters this fall. As he does every year, GBN Associate Editor/Scouting Director Pigskin Paul Guillemette has run the numbers from last year’s major all-star games and found that once again, the Senior Bowl dominated the competition when it came to having its players make an NFL roster this fall. Indeed, according to the report 87 players who were in Mobile last January, roughly 75% of all Senior Bowl participants, made a 53-man roster this fall, compared with 33 from the East-West Shrine game and just 14 from the NFLPA all-star game.
