Big uglies hilite latest Senior Bowl acceptance list … The Senior Bowl announced the names of 20 more players who have agreed to participate in this year’s game including Kansas State C/T Dalton Risner, OG Dru Samia and OT ben Powers of Oklahoma, and OGs Beau Benzschawel and Michael Deiter of Wisconsin. Washington State Gardner Minshew, who may be one of the most scrutinized players in Mobile this year, has also accepting a Senior Bowl invitation. Minshew, who transferred to Washington State from East Carolina last year, wasn’t on anybody’s draft radar heading into the season, but ended up leading the country in passing as he threw for almost 4,500 yards and 36 TDs while completing over 70% of his pass attempts. Pro scouts have certainly taken notice, but still aren’t sure whether Minshew is a legit prospect or more a product of the high-octane WSU offense. Minshew is the 4th QB to agree to play in Mobile along with Ryan Finley of NC State, Trace McSorley of Penn State and Northwestern’s Clayton Thorson.
