BC edge rusher hilites list of 26 new players added to Senior Bowl … The Senior Bowl announced the names of 26 more players who have accepted invitations to this year’s game. Heading the list is Boston College DE/OLB, a potential top ten pick this year who led the country with 16.5 sacks in 2016, although injuries held him back this fall. Among other players heading to Mobile next month include San Diego State RB Rashaad Penny, college football’s only 2, 000 yard rusher this fall, All-America Mississippi State OT Martinas Rankin, and Virginia LB Micah Kiser. Also included in the latest group of Senior Bowl additions are QBs Luke Falk of Washington State, Mike White of Western Kentucky, Kurt Benkert of Virginia, and small-school star Kyle Lauletta of Richmond. The latest additions bring the number of players who have accepted invitations to the Senior Bowl to 63. The Senior Bowl is scheduled for January 27th in Mobile.
