That’s a wrap; part deux … The second and third rounds of the 2023 draft came to a close just a few minutes ago when Minnesota selected former USC CB Mehki Blackmon 102nd and last pick of the third round. However, as usual there won’t be much rest for NFL personnel people, though, as teams will be burning the midnight oil again tonight re-stacking their boards and setting priorities prior to the start of the fourth round, which gets underway at Noon ET Saturday afternoon with Chicago on the clock. The busiest team of the third day, though, looks to be Jacksonville which still has 11 later round selections, while New England, Green Bay and the LA Rams have 9 each and Indianapolis has 8. At the other end of the spectrum, Miami, Buffalo, Carolina, Denver and Detroit all have just two third day picks, while Atlanta, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Tennessee and the NY Jets have just three apiece. Here is the updated selection order for the 2023 draft, as well as the current picks by team file.
And there are still some very good players still on the board heading into the 3rd day of the draft including QBs Aidan O’Connell, Stetson Bennett and Max Duggan; RBs Chase Brown, Sean Tucker, DeWayne McBride and Izzy Abanikanda; WRs AT Perry, Trey Palmer and Rakim Jarrett; TEs Zach Kuntz and Will Mallory; OTs Dawand Jones, Jaelyn Duncan, Blake Freeland, Carter Warren and Ryan Hayes; OGs Andrew Vorhees and Braedon Daniels; Cs Luke Wypler and Olu Oluwatimi; DEs Dylan Horton, Ade Adebawore, and Mike Morris; DTs Jaquelin Roy and PJ Mustiper; LBs Nick Herbig, Jeremy Banks, Noah Sewell, and Henry To’oTo’o; CBs Kelee Ringo, Eli Ricks, Darius Rush, Jakorian Bennett, Terrell Smith, Clark Phillips, Cory Trice and Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson; and safeties JL Skinner and Chris Smith. Here is the full list of players still available on the GBN Big Board.
