Saints top pick out indefinitely … New Orleans rookie LT Trevor Penning, the 19th player selected at the 2022 draft, suffered a torn ligament in his foot during Friday’s pre-season game with the LA Chargers. Penning will need to undergo surgery and is out indefinitely, although the Saints are reportedly optimistic that he could be back by as early as mid-season.
