Saints QB Carr could be out for year … Just what the 2025 draft needed is a little more QB intrigue at the top of the board. Sources are indicating this evening that New Orleans QB Derek Carr could miss much, if not all, of the upcoming season because of a shoulder injury that could require surgery. The Saints been thought to be very much in the market for a QB early in this month’s draft, perhaps even with the 9th pick overall. Those whispers had turned into almost a full-blown roar when it became apparent that Shedeur Sanders was possibly starting to slip down the board. However, with other teams also likely interested in Sanders, the Saints might not be able to even wait until the 9th pick.
