Rising UGA LB booked on driving charges … Rising junior LB Jamon Dumas-Johnson, one of the top defensive prospects for the 2024 draft, was booked earlier this week on charges of reckless driving and street racing stemming from an incident following the Bulldogs’ national championship win over TCU last month. Dumas-Johnson was able to post bond and was released later in the day. The 6-1, 245-pounder was an integral member of UGA’s national championship defence, posting 70 tackles including 4 sacks. So far, there is no word from the program on any possible supplementary discipline, although its possible he could face a suspension to open the season. The Bulldogs open defence of their title on September 2nd against FCS Tennessee-Martin and then host Ball State before kicking off their SEC regular season schedule against South Carolina on September 16th.
