Rising Herd ER enters draft … We haven’t been noting every underclassmen opting to enter this year’s draft since most have long been expected to jump to the pros this year. However, we will note that Marshall redshirt sophomore DE Mike Green, arguably the best prospect in the country almost nobody has seen, has confirmed that he will be entering the 2025 draft. Green, who leads all FBS pass rushers with 17 sacks thru the regular college football schedule, is a little undersized at barely 6-4, 250, but he is an outstanding athlete with projected sub-4.6 speed that includes an explosive first step along with true weight room core strength. We currently have him rated as the 9th best DE/ER in a loaded positional class as well as the 48th best overall prospect on the GBN Big Board for next April’s draft, but nobody should be surprised if he were to sneak into the latter stages of the opening round as there is just such great value on people who can get after the QB in a hurry.
