Rising FAU QB Robison no longer part of team

Rising FAU QB Robison no longer part of team … In something of a major surprise, star Florida Atlantic junior QB Chris Robison, who had been considered to be a potential dark-horse Heisman candidate this year, was not on the team’s fall roster which was released this week. Robison had a breakout year last fall when he threw for over 3,700 yards and 28 TDs to lead the Owls to the conference title. There is no comment from the school as to what happened, but Robison is no stranger to off-field trouble. He originally committed to Oklahoma, but was dismissed from the Sooners in 2017 because of an undisclosed violation of team rules. He was also suspended twice since arriving at FAU including in the spring of 2019 while he was under investigation for sexual battery, although he was never charged.
