Raiders get Pack WR Adams for picks … The AFC West just keeps on getting more competitive. with news that the Las Vegas Raiders have acquired star Green Bay WR Davante Adams for first and second round picks this year, #s 22 and 53 respectively. Adams had been franchised by the Packers with the hopes of keeping him around to help keep Aaron Rodgers happy, but Adams made it very clear he would not play under the franchise tag and wanted out. In Adams, the Raiders get one of, if not the game’s best receiver these days after he averaged 120 receptions for almost 1,500 yards and 14 TDs over the past two seasons. For the record, Adams will also be reunited with Derek Carr with whom he was teammates with in college at Fresno State. Meanwhile, with the acquisition of the two new picks, Green Bay now has 11 selections for this year’s draft, the second most in the league behind Jacksonville’s even dozen. On the other hand, the Raiders are down to just 5 picks, currently the fewest on any team, which is kind of ironic as the draft will be held in Vegas this April.
