Raiders clinch top pick with Giants win … Las Vegas backed into the #1 pick overall at the 2026 draft when the NY Giants knocked off Dallas 34-17 in an early game today for their 4th win of the season. Had the Giants lost to the Cowboys, they would have ended up with the top pick if the Raiders had also lost their late afternoon game with Kansas City. If they do defeat the Chiefs this afternoon, the Raiders will finish the regular season at 3-14, the same as Tennessee which lost to Jacksonville in another early game, as well as possibly the NY Jets and Arizona should either lose their 4 PM game; however, the Raiders have a weaker strength of schedule figure than each of those teams and it is simply statistically impossible for that to change as a result of today’s late game.
