Raiders, Bears close to deal for star ER Mack … Its the story that’s been bubbling just below the surface for the past several weeks, but it appears to be coming close to an end as Oakland reportedly has an agreement in place to trade star OLB Khalil Mack, one of the most dominant players in the NFL to Chicago. The Bears still have to work out a long-term deal with Mack and the sides still have to agree on the nuts and bolts of a compensation package, but Chicago has reportedly agreed to send the Raiders their main asking point of two first round draft picks – presumably in 2019 and 2020, for Mack, the NFL’s defensive player of the year in 2016.
