QBs Williams, Daniels won’t throw at combine … Saturday’s on-field testing and positional drills session at the combine lost some of its luster as both of star QBs Caleb Williams of Southern Cal and LSU’s Jayden Daniels have confirmed that they will not participate in the throwing drills for the position weekend. Williams, the consensus top prospect for the upcoming draft, and Daniels, the Heisman Trophy winner who isn’t all that far behind, will instead throw at their respective pro days. For the record, USC’s pro day is March 20th, while LSU will go one week later on March 27th.
