QBs on parade in intriguing week on college sked … Fans of NFL teams looking to select a QB early in the 2024 draft may want to keep their clickers handy on Saturday with several of the best prospects at the position featured in key nationally televised college games. On Saturday evening, for example, the consensus two top QB prospects in the upcoming draft class – Southern Cal’s Caleb Williams and Drake Maye of North Carolina – go head-to-head so to speak when USC plays at Notre Dame and UNC hosts Miami on competing networks. Earlier in the day, Washington’s Michael Penix and Bo Nix of Oregon, two of the best second-tier QB prospects do literally go head-to-head when the Huskies host the Ducks in a match-up of top ten teams both with real national championship aspirations.
