QB3 enters draft … LSU QB Jayden Daniels, this year’s Heisman Trophy winner, just announced that he will in fact be entering the 2024 draft where he is currently rated as the #3 prospect at the position behind USC’s Caleb Williams and Drake Maye of North Carolina. The big question for the NFL regarding Daniels is whether he is also a top 5-10 prospect overall. For the record, we currently have him 10th on the GBN Big Board, while Mel Kiper over at ESPN has him at #4, Frank Coyle of Draft Insiders has him at #9, and Jordan Reid, ESPN’s other lead draft analyst, has him at #15. Stay tuned! In the meantime, Daniels, a 5th year player who did have a year of eligibility remaining, will also be skipping the Tigers’ bowl game on January 1st.
