Prospective top pick QB Williams visits Bears … For the record, USC Caleb Williams, who is widely expected to be the first player selected at this month’s draft – which for the record IS three weeks today – had his official visit with the Bears in Chicago yesterday. And in further confirmation of the likelihood that it is already pretty much a done deal with Chicago, the visit with the Bears appears to be the only ’30’ visit Williams will make prior to the draft, while Williams also appears to be the only one of the top 3-4 QBs in this year’s draft who the Bears have had, or will have in for a visit. As well, in describing the visit Bears’ head coach Mike Eberflus has mentioned at least a couple of times that the team is using these interactions with Williams to start teaching him the offence.
