Pro day sched heats up this week … After a relatively quiet first week, the annual pro day schedule really starts to heat up this week with several key workouts on the docket. In fact, we have seen no reports that indicate that any NFL G.M. or head coach was on the road at a pro day last week. Figure that is going to change this week, though, as the national champion Georgia Bulldogs who have a small army of top prospects, will hold their pro day on Wednesday and we can pretty much guarantee that anybody who’s anybody in the league’s personnel community will be in Athens that day. Meanwhile, Clemson will hold its workout on Thursday, while Michigan goes on Friday. Still, the busiest week overall on this year’s schedule will be next week. In fact, pretty well all the top QB prospects will be throwing next week.
