Preliminary 2026 position rankings posted … While we took a little time off the past couple of weeks, we couldn’t resist peeking ahead to the 2026 draft, which for the record is ‘just’ 325 or so days away, ad did finish up our very preliminary positional rankings for next April’s draft per the drop-down menu above. No surprise, that most of the buzz will be about the QBs and there will in fact be a bunch of really good ones in the college ranks this fall, but almost all will have eligibility remaining after this year and with the NIL money being thrown around these days, well we’ll see. Of course, that holds to some degree or other with every position, but at least on paper 300-plus days out, the strengths of the draft would appear to be the edge rushers, the OTs and the RBs. Over the course of the next few days, we’ll be starting a position-by-position preview of each group.
