Just two weeks into the season … and no we won’t be publishing an updated first-round selection order for next April’s draft at least for several more weeks. We prefer to wait until we get a little more data to get a better feeling of what are the trends. What we can say is that a couple of weeks in there are 10 teams that are still winless including most of the usual suspects including Tennessee, Cleveland,the Giants,the Jets, Carolina,New Orleans and Chicago. At the same time, though there are teams that are not the usual suspects at 0-2 including Miami, Houston and Kansas City. What we can also say – just for fun – that based on the respective strengths of schedule from 2024 for the still winless teams, New Orleans would have the first pick overall next April with Tennessee, Carolina, the NY Jets and Miami rounding out the top 5 followed by Houston, Cleveland, Kansas City, Chicago and the NY Giants.
