Players to watch in Tuesday bowl … The annual bowl fest leading up to the only bowls anyone really cares about continues on Tuesday with a Frisco Bowl (9 PM ET: ESPN) match-up between 8-4 UTSA and 6-6 Marshall. And as luck would have it there are several players worth watching; unfortunately, it could have even been more – and better – but star UTSA LB Trey Moore, a 3rd year player who was among the top sackers in the country with 14 – has entered the transfer portal with Texas or Alabama the likely destinations. However, UTSA will have star QB Frank Harris (#0, 6-0, 205) in uniform, although he’s a little undersized for an NFL prospect, but could get some serious looks from team’s in the Canadian league. Harris throws to a pretty good target in WR Josh Cephus (#2, 6-2, 185) who had 82 receptions for over 1,000 yards this fall and 9 scores, while S Rashad Wisdom (39, 5-9, 200) and CB Kam Alexander (#18, 5-11, 175). For its part, Marshall features one of the better unsung runners in the country in Rasheen ali (#22, 6-0, 210) who ran for over 1,000 yards and 14 TDs this fall after posting almost 1,400 yards in an freshman All-America season in 2021, while LB Owen Porter (#55, 6-3, 240) and CB Micah Abraham (#6, 5-11, 185) lead the defence.
