More players accept Senior Bowl invites … The Senior Bowl has announced the names of 11 more players that have accepted invitations to this year’s game. The new additions include Iowa RB Akrum Wadley, Oklahoma FB Dimitri Flowers, TEs Christopher Herndon of Miami and Central Michigan’s Tyler Conklin, OGs Sean Welsh of Iowa and Georgia’s Isaiah Wynn, DTs Maurice Hurst of Michigan and NC State’s Justin Jones, Wisconsin OLB Garret Dooley, CB Taron Johnson of Weber State and safety Trayvon Henderson of Hawaii. The addition of these players brings the number of confirmed acceptances to the Senior Bowl to 26, although it is significant to note that Miami’s Herndon reportedly recently tore an MCL and may not be available for the game. The senior Bowl is slated to be played January 27th in Mobile.
