One more draft commit … As noted in an earlier report, when the NFL releases the final list of underclassmen eligible for this year’s draft sometime early next week, it almost always includes several truly unknown players. One such player who reportedly will be on the list this year is junior WR Jaquel Pitts, who was enrolled at Mayville State, an NAIA program in North Dakota, this past season. Pitts, who didn’t play in any games this past season and does not appear on the Mayville State roster after suffering an ankle injury in training camp, isn’t going to be drafted, but he’s a great story nonetheless for the perseverance he has shown in overcoming much to get as far as he has to date.
